CBS students victorious in Big Data case competition

Last Wednesday 4 students from CBS joyously lifted the winner’s trophy after pommeling the competitors to take home the victory in the inaugural edition of the ‘Crowdsourcing and Big Data Competition’. And in addition to the trophy the winning team received a money prize of DKK 75,000 plus optional individual job interviews with either Danske Bank or KMD representatives.

Professor from CBS receives DKK 10m in research grants

The 2015 CBS Elections are over - lowest voter turnout in 5 years

Preliminary results of the 2015 CBS Elections are in and the seats – when not taking into account possible objections, the upcoming results of the election committee’s revision of the elections, and the drawing of lots on December 3rd – are distributed. Final overall voter turnout stands at 20.74, which is the lowest voter turnout in an election at CBS since 2010.

Falling glass prompts façade replacement at Solbjerg Plads

New notification feature in LEARN results in more accurate exam schedules

A new feature in LEARN enables students to notify CBS whether or not they intend to turn up at any one specific exam that they are already signed up for. The administration estimates that this will decrease the number of no-shows and thus the students will be provided with more accurate exam schedules in relation to oral exams.

The TOEFL test remains a requirement for exchange program applicants

Whether you took the language test two years ago, whether you are enrolled in a program taught in English, or whether you believe your English proficiency is through the roof, there is no way around the TOEFL test. The only ones allowed to go without the test are students with English as their mother tongue, and students with a high school diploma from a country in which English is the de facto language.
