Do you feel like jumping around after a ball on the asphalt like when you were a kid? Really? Okay! Thursday, May 16th you’ll have the chance to show off your skills on the parking lot behind Dalgas Have with an after-party at Nexus.

Street football all day at CBS
Thursday, May 16th CBS Sport is organizing the CBS Sport Street Football tournament 2013. The tournament takes place from 10 am to 4 pm on the parking lot behind Dalgas Have and in the evening, an official after-party will be held at Nexus.

You can show up and cheer teams on, but being part of a team that’s actually playing is usually more fun. A team must consist of 5-8 players (plus cheerleaders) and at least one girl has to be on the field at all times.

Team registration takes place at 9 in the morning, so the games can start at 10. There’s a small fee… 150 kr. plus a small administration fee for each team.
In return you get – in addition to the chance to win some cool prizes – a DJ, cool people and lots of great games.

The tournament has a Facebook page you can check out, and you can sign up through this link.

Volunteer referees and others wanted
In case you want something more useful than cheering to do on a day like this, you can sign up to become a volunteer referee, help set it up, clean up afterwards or even become part of the administration.

If that’s something you might be interested in, drop Camilla of CBS Sport a line.
And remember: It’s Thursday, and Nexus will be waiting with the official after-party later.
