Tuesday, March 8th is the International Women's Day, but it is also the day of this year's edition of the CBS Diversity Day. Enjoy!

Week 9 was a very eventful week at CBS, but week 10 also offers a variety of exciting and diverse activities and events at and around CBS, and once again we bring you an overview of the week’s ‘goings-on’.

Monday – Improvisational theater by CBS Improv Theatre

At Lygten Station in Nørrebro from 8pm to 9.30pm, you can watch members from the student organization CBS Improv Theatre perform improvisational theater. The event is part of a series of performances that take place at Lygten Station every Monday throughout March.

Entrance to the event is free, but if you feel like supporting CBS Improv Theatre, you are more than welcome to make a donation when the collection hat is passed around.

Tuesday – Focus on the many aspects of diversity

On Tuesday it is time for this year’s edition of the CBS Diversity Day and as the title reveals this event puts the spotlight on diversity from (almost) all imaginable perspectives.

This year, focus is particularly on diversity in the private sector and how to take to into account and exploit the opportunities a diverse staff opens up for.

This year’s CBS Diversity Day includes a series of guest speakers from a wide variety of organizations and corporations; panel debates; theater; and Q&A sessions. It all takes place in room SPs12 at Solbjerg Plads from 10am till 4pm, and the day is concluded with a reception for the participants of the final panel debate.

Furthermore, participating organizations and companies will be represented with stands on the ground floor at Solbjerg Plads throughout the day, which gives you a unique opportunity to drop by for an informal chat on how they handle and work with diversity in their daily operations and overall strategies.

Thursday – Go for a run and go party at Nexus

As always Nexus will be buzzing Thursday night and if you plan on joining the party, you could make a run with the active members of CBS Running part of your preparations for a night out.

The starter pistol is fired at 4.30pm. Visit CBS Running’s Facebook page for more information on meeting place, route, and distance.

When you have crossed the finish line, had a shower and put on your evening wear, the friendly bouncers are ready to welcome you and your friends for yet another great party at Nexus.

Visit Café Nexus’ Facebook page or website for updates on Nexus Thursdays.

Friday – Dodgeball and gaming at Nexus

This Friday the stage is set for the CBS Sport Dodgeball Tournament 2016 organized by CBS Sport.

The tournament starts at 3.30pm in Porcelænshaven, and it is safe to assume that this year’s tournament will be just as much fun as in previous years, as feisty battles, sweat-drenched players, creative team kits, and deafening chants from the crowd are surely guaranteed.

If you haven’t already signed up your team for this event, CBS OBSERVER is happy to inform you that there are still vacant spots. So, gather a powerful team and sign up before it’s too late; to enter a team into the competition costs a mere DKK 200.
