Week 12 and 13 at and around CBS

CBS Sport celebrates the student organization's 10th anniversary on Wednesday, March 30th.

The sun is shining and spring is in the air and once again CBS OBSERVER brings you an overview of some of the activities and events taking place in the coming weeks at and around CBS. 

Due to the Easter holidays, we so not send out the newsletter in week 12 and thus, both week 12 and 13 are included in this overview.

Week 12

Monday – Saturday: Copenhagen International Impro Festival

Copenhagen International Impro Festival takes place in week 12 at the National Museum of Denmark, and the festival’s opening performance takes place on Monday evening at 8pm.

The festival is Europe’s largest improvisational theater festival and the event attracts a large number of Danish and international comedians, stage performers, actors, and improv groups and even CBS’ own improv theater group, CBS Improv Theatre, is scheduled to perform on the final day of the festival, Saturday, March 26th.

In addition to a series of performances, the festival also features a number of workshops where participants can get insights into and practice the discipline of performing improvisational theater.

Single day tickets are DKK 120 apiece, but increases to DKK 145 on selected days.

Tuesday – Interval runs with CBS Running

If you plan on indulging yourself with plenty of food and drinks during the Easter holidays, it might be a good idea to prepare your body for the ride.

CBS Running can help you do just that as the student organization’s instructors are ready to take runners out for a series of interval runs on Tuesday at 5.30pm.

Week 13

Wednesday – CSE Investor Day and CBS Sport’s 10th anniversary

The event ‘CSE Investor Day & the final Go Grow pitches’ starts at 2pm in Ovnhallen at Porcelænshaven.

The focus of the event is to match entrepreneurs and investors, which means that the event includes presentations by representatives from 16 different startups, as well as presentations by investors.

The event is open to anyone and it is free, you just have to sign up.

But if you are more interested in celebrating the 10th anniversary of CBS’ largest and most active student organization, CBS Sport, you can do just that at Solbjerg Plads.

The 10th anniversary celebrations take place on the 2nd floor of the canteen at Solbjerg Plads and it all starts at 3.30pm and, among other things, the event includes speeches by CBS Sport’s founding chairman, Jonas Brandt, as well as President Per Holten-Andersen.
